New York times recently conducted a very detailed study on earnings across majors and universities. This extensive survey (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/10/07/your-money/college-degree-earnings-guide.html} reports the following very positive results about the Computer Science program at University of Georgia. UGA computer science majors earned 107K in annual salary four years after graduation, which is fourth highest among all UGA majors, highest among all majors associated with Franklin College of Art and Science, higher than all but one major associated with College of Engineering. This survey establishes what we have always known: computer science remains one of the most lucrative majors and UGA School of Computing provides excellent preparation for graduates to launch their career!
